Mediation Fee Schedule
Two Party Mediation
One Half Day (4 hours). . . . $2,400
Full Day (8 hours) . . . . . . . . $4,000
Additional time is billed at $500 per hour with fees shared equally by the parties unless otherwise ordered by the Court or agreed between the parties.
Multi-Party Mediation – Full Day
Three Parties. . . . . . . . . . . . . $1,400 per party plus $170 per hour over 8 hours
Four Parties. . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1,100 per party plus $140 per hour over 8 hours
Five to Nine Parties. . . . . . . .$900 per party plus $100 per hour over 8 hours, not to exceed $6000 per day divided by the number of parties
Ten or more Parties. . . . . . . .$800 per party plus $80 per hour over 8 hours. Doyle Conflict Resolution may use a co-mediator to make efficient use of time.
Multi-Party Mediation – Half Day*
Three Parties. . . . . . . . . . . . .$850 per party plus $170 per hour over 4 hours
Four Parties. . . . . . . . . . . . . .$750 per party plus $140 per hour over 4 hours
*Note: A half-day will be scheduled if requested, but it is usually difficult to conduct a multi-party mediation in a half-day.
Full and Half-Day rates include preparation and post-mediation reports.
Payment: All fees are shared equally by the parties unless otherwise ordered by the Court or agreed by the parties. A “party” is defined as any individual, company or group of individuals or companies with a common interest and represented by one law firm.
Cancellation policy: There is a cancellation fee of $1,000 if the mediation is cancelled within two weeks of the scheduled date and another mediation cannot be scheduled during that time. If the mediation is rescheduled and held within 30 days, the cancellation fee will be credited to the party or parties paying for cancellation.
Arbitration Fee Schedule
Binding and Non-binding Arbitration
Arbitration services are billed at $500 per hour. This includes the Pre-Arbitration Conference, evidence review, discovery or other hearings, Arbitration Hearing and preparation of the Arbitration Award. There is no administrative fee or charge.
Hybrid or Arb/Med (Arbitration followed by Mediation)
Due to the necessity of confidential disclosures in mediation, mediation will be conducted only after arbitration is concluded and a written opinion prepared. Time for mediation following arbitration will be charged at the same hourly rate as the arbitration with a four-hour minimum charge for the mediation.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
An estimated fee will be determined following the Pre-Hearing Conference. A deposit amount and due date will be set at that time and be included in the Pre-Hearing Order.
Cancellation within two weeks of a Final Hearing or post-arbitration mediation will result in a cancellation charge of two hours. If the hearing is rescheduled and held within 30 days, the cancellation fee will be credited to the party paying for cancellation.
